Negative Amortization
A loan payment schedule in which the outstanding principal balances goes up, rather than down, because the payments do not cover the full amount of interest due. The unpaid interest is added to the principal.

Net Income
Total income less total expenses.

No-Load Fund
A mutual fund that does not involve a sales charge when shares are purchased.

Notary Public
One who is authorized by the state or federal government to administer oaths, and to attest to the authenticity of signatures.
